PIXELROOM / PRIVACY POLICY

Your images stay in your room.

Last updated November 4, 2026. This policy describes the Pixelroom application as distributed with this project.

Images and processing

Selected files, pasted images, thumbnails, watermarks and outputs are processed locally using browser APIs. Pixelroom does not send image contents to a server. Files are held in memory for the session and released when removed or when the page is closed. Downloaded files are saved by your browser to your device.

Local settings

Pixelroom uses localStorage for your chosen theme, named recipes and custom presets. Saved recipes can include text watermark content. Images and image watermarks are never written to localStorage. Delete entries in Recipes or Presets, or clear this site’s browser storage to remove everything.

Shared links

A shared recipe link contains readable, non-image editing configuration in its URL query. Image data and watermark text are excluded. Anyone with the link can read the settings. URLs may appear in browser history and normal hosting request logs; do not add sensitive information to URLs.

Hosting requests

Your browser requests the site’s HTML, styles, scripts and bundled artwork from its hosting provider. The host may receive ordinary connection information such as IP address, request path and user agent, according to its own policies. This is distinct from uploading your selected images.

No trackers or ads

This distribution includes no analytics, advertising scripts, accounts, cookies or paid processing APIs. Public pages include disabled placement hooks for optional future advertising. No ad code runs. If an operator adds integrations, this policy must be reviewed to reflect their behavior.

Your controls

Use Clear session to release current files. Remove saved recipes individually, or clear site data in browser settings. Closing the tab discards unsaved editing work. Clipboard access for copying a settings link occurs only when you press Copy link.
